My job just got 5,784,998 times harder

I mean, look, now I'm going to have to pay attention to the child:

After mastering walking (well, "mastering" is used fairly loosely here), she's decided the next step is climbing the furniture, apparently. Unfortunately she hasn't yet figured out how to climb down safely. Or that mama doesn't like it when she pushes all the buttons on the stereo and throws CDs on the floor.

Welcome to toddlerhood!!!
It's a wild ride...... But lots of fun. OK, now some of the best toys you can get for this age are mini-mommy tools, such as a short broom, mini dust pan, etc, so you can give her a good alternative when she tries to help with everything you do!

Hmmmm...reminds me of a certain child I knew many years ago...whom this child resembles in more than her looks!

Shawna: Okay, if I can get her tidying the house for me, that would be awesome. The only thing is that I will have to teach her by example. Such a shame.

Clara: Well, we're not sure there's much we can do other than try not to let her get hurt too badly when she takes a tumble and help her climb down safely. So we just stay nearby!

Jay: Was I a climber at that age? Within my own memory I was a very cautious kid. I left the climbing to Lauren once we got a bit older.
