Does one have to be stupid to decide to go to Target on Saturday, or does being at Target on a Saturday make one stupid?

Next time someone asks me about my decision to stay at home with Adriana I'm going to tell them it's less about quality time with my daughter than about the ability to go to Target while everyone else is at work.

Well, in the interest of honesty, perhaps I should also disclose that as I walked through the home improvement section I kept giggling to myself because I really wanted someone to ask me if I needed help so I could tell them "I need some caulk." Because I have the sense of humor of a twelve-year-old.

hah! i guess that's why i loved teaching junior high for as long as i did. 12 year old humor is hard to resist and always stupidly funny :))

Part of why I hate 9 to 5 jobs is that I can't shop when everyone else is working. Or, more accurately, I miss the crazy weekend crowds.

When I got a real job I had the same sort of shock. In college I always had Tuesdays off. So that was my day for shopping and doctor appointments. If I didn't have a flexible work schedule I don't know how I would get anything done. How do people with real jobs go to the dentist?
